Don’t forget, if you’re bringing little ones with you, hit up your local drug store and purchase child ear plugs. Those loud aftershocks can be startling and frightening to toddlers, pets, and young children (or even some adults I know….and you know who you are).

Fireworks! Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024

Portsmouth, NH
The City of Portsmouth presents the annual fireworks display on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at South Mill Pond (across from Portsmouth City Hall). This celebration is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event. The rain date is Friday, July 5. The celebration starts at Leary Field with the Music and Game Zone from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, including lawn games, a DJ, and roaming performers on Parrott and Junkins Avenues. At 9:00 pm the National Anthem will be sung by Crystal Taber. At 9:15 pm the Independence Day fireworks begin.
Location: South Mill Pond across from the Portsmouth City Hall.

Fireworks at the Fisher Cats!
The NH Fisher Cats will have a large firework display following the game on the 4th, 5th and 6th of July! Check the schedule for many more post-game evenings that include fireworks this summer!

Canobie Lake Park, Salem, NH
Don’t miss our spectacular fireworks displays beginning June 28 and then each Friday evening (including July 5th) through August 23rd. The display, themed to music, starts promptly at 9:15 pm, weather permitting. The best place to view the fireworks is by the daVinci’s Dream ride.
