Join us for a rekindling of the beloved annual family-friendly outdoor event, Fairy House Tour, presented by Friends of the South End to benefit local schools and nonprofits.
Join us for an extra-special edition of this beloved annual family-friendly outdoor event. Come see hundreds of enchanting fairy houses on display on the grounds of the Strawbery Banke Museum, Governor John Langdon House, Prescott Park and the Gundalow waterfront. Plus, enjoy fairy-inspired performances by the Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater, The Players’ Ring and New Hampshire Theatre Project throughout the weekend. More fun, food and family activities than you ever imagined! Don’t miss the 2024 edition of the Fairy House Tour this fall which will feature an opening day fairy parade, 20th Anniversary fairy book and photo display and LIVE creation of a fairy house sculpture for permanent display in downtown Portsmouth.

The 20th Annual Fairy House Tour features Artist Invitational fairy house winners plus, houses constructed by Seacoast area adults and schoolchildren all magically nestled into the landscape of Strawbery Banke, John Langdon House & Prescott Park for discovery and enjoyment. This is a rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable and are good for either Saturday, September 21 or Sunday, September 22 from 10am – 3pm.
